Chicken Pasta (Indian style)

Pasta. hhmmm. I love Italian food. But my hubby is not a big fan of pasta. So we usually go to Italian restaurents when i feel like eating it. When my mom was here, she found it really hard to eat foods other than Indian foods. She is the one who made me think about this recipe. Guess what?? Not only my mom, even my hubby liked it. So if you are tired of making pasta with regular pasta sauce, treat urself with something different like this.
Ingredients :-
Pasta - 1 pack
Boneless Chicken - 2 cups (cooked and chopped)
Oil - 2tspn
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Greenchillies - 1 or 2 (chopped)
Ginger and Garlic - 1tbsp (chopped)
Coriander Leaves (cillantro)- few
Garam Masala - 1/2 tspn
Pasta Sauce - 1/2 cup
Preperation :-
1)Marinate chicken peices in a mix of lemon, salt and turmeric for 15-20 mins before cooking.
2)Meanwhile, cook pasta with salt and a little butter (optional) and drain it.
3)Sautee onion, gingergarlic and greenchillies till light brown.
4)Add garam masala and fry it.
5)Add pasta sauce and chicken and cook it for 1-2 mins.
6)Now add cooked n drained pasta to this gravy and put it in a low flame till everything is mixed well.
7)Garnish with coriander leaves or with parmesan cheese. Serve it hot.
