Pazham Pori / Plantain Fries

Pazhampori. There wont be any malayali who doesnt love this snack. One of the famous snack in Kerala. I too love it. I make this snack whenever i get plantain.
Ingredients
1.Ripe plantain - 1
2.Maida - 1-2 cups (allpourpose flour)
3.Rice flour - 3tblspn (for 1cup maida)
4.Turmeric Powder - 1/4tspn (or orangish yellow foor colour a pinch)
5.Egg - 1 (for 1-2 cups of flour)
6.Sugar n salt - to taste
7.Oil - As required for deep frying
Preperation :-
1.Cut plantain into long peices (kind of thin rectangular shape) and keep it aside.
2.Mix flours and colour with egg and enough water till you get a good thick liquid paste. Dip your finger and make sure the mix is getting well coated in your finger. If not, add more flour.
3.Add sugar n salt to your taste.
4.Meanwhile, heat oil in a frying pan or kadai.
5.Now dip each peices in this liquid paste and fry it in the oil. Make sure that the peices are well coated with flour paste.
