Soft Idlis

Ingredients
1.Raw rice/Idli rice - 2cups
2.Urad dal - 1cup
3.Fenugreek seeds - 1tspn
4.Salt - to taste

Preperation :-

1.Wash rice and fenugreek seeds together and soak it in warm water for 6-8hrs.
2.Wash urad dal and soak it for 20-30mins. Drain and keep it closed for another 2hrs. Do this step just 2hrs before grinding rice. Save the drained water for grinding purpose.
3.Grind urad dal first by adding saved water little by little with enough salt.
4.Take the paste from grinder and put rice to it. Grind it with required water adding little by little.
5.Let the rice get into a form of fine paste.
6.Mix uraddal and rice paste together, if possible, in a blender.
7.If the room temperature is down, warm the mix by keeping it in hot water.
8.Check it with your hand in between. If the mix is warm enough, Mix it well with your hand for 5-7 minutes continuously.
9.Keep this inside the oven and warm it (170Degrees) for 2-3 minutes. Do not open the oven for 10-12hrs.
10.Steam it in idli makers for 8-12 minutes. Soft and tasty idlis are ready to serve once it is cooled a little.
