Chemeen Ularthiyathu / Spicy Shrimp Roast

Yum Yum Yum!!!! this is what all i have to say about this dish. One of my fav. Just love it.
Ingredients
1.Shrimp/Prawns - 1lb
2.Shallots - 1cup(sliced)
3.Ginger & Garlic - 1tspn each (sliced)
4.Greenchillies - to taste (slit opened)
5.Curryleaves - 1string
6.Redchilli powder - 1-2tspn (or to taste)
7.Turmeric Powder - a pinch
8.Salt - to taste
9.Oil - as required (preferably coconut oil)

Preperation :-

1.Heat oil in a kadai. If you have earthern ware(mannchatti) , use it to prepare this dish.
2.Add ingredients 2,3,4&5 to this with a pinch of salt and saute it well till it turns its colour slightly.
3.Now add chilli and turmeric powders and fry it for a minute in very low flame. Or take off the pan from the stove for a minute.
4.Add cleaned shrimp to this and mix it well.
5.Cook it in medium flame with closed lid. Check for water in between.
6.Once you see clear oil in the bottom of the pan, take off the lid and keep curry in a medium low flame.
7.You should keep shrimp flipping over from bottom to top. Let the shrimp ger fried a little in oil.
8.Add few fresh curryleaves for an added flavour if you like.
