Ingredients :-
1.Rawa / Vermicelli - 1 cup
2.Water - 1 1/2 cups
3.Oil - 1 tbspn
4.Onion - a handful (chopped)
5.Green Chillies - to taste (chopped)
6.Ginger - 1tspn (chopped)
7.Whole Red Chillies - 2-3nos
8.Urad dal - 1tspn
9.Chana dal - 1tspn
10.Curryleaves - 1 string
11.Mustard seeds - 1tspn or as less than that

Preperation :-
1.Heat oil in a medium size kadai or pan and splutter mustard seeds.
2.Take the kadai off the stove and add curry leaves.
3.Add red whole chillies to it once curry leaves splutters.
4.Add dals and keep it back on stove top in a medium low heat.
5.Fry it for a min and add chopped ginger and chillies.
6.Add onions to it after few seconds and sautee it well.
7.Add rava / vermicelli to this onion and fry it in meduim high heat till it leaves that raw flavour.
(Skip this step if vermicelli is roasted)
8.Meanwhile, boil water with salt. Add salt little more than to taste as rava will absorb salt.
9. Reduce the flame once rava is fried well and add hot water to it.
10.Stirr it well and keep on stirring till all water is absorbed well.
11.Take it off the stove once it is thickened well and small lumps are formed.

Now, wanna make it fast?? Use your maicrowave and this recipe to prepare tasty veg upma in few minutes.

Preperation :-
1.Take a microwave safe bowl, pour in 1 tspn (or to taste) oil with chopped onion, ginger, greenchillies and curryleaves and mix it well.
2.Cook it for 2 mins in meduim power.
3.Add one cup rawa to this sauteed onions and mix it well.
4.Again cook it for another 2 mins.
5.Now add required vegetables (beans, carrots, peas etc) to this and mix it well.
6.Add 1 cup of water to this and mix it again.
7.Cook it for 4 mins.
8.Pour 1tspn fresh ghee and mix upma well.
9.Garnish it with cillantro and serve hot.
