Yummy Banana Candy

Ingredients :-
1.Banana - 4 nos (ethapazham/ripe plantain)
2.Sugar - 1 cup
3.Water - 1 cup
4.Ghee - 1/2 cup
5.Cornflour - 3/4 cup
6.Cardamom - 3nos (elakka/elaichi)

Preperation :-
1.Prepare sugar syrup by boiling water with sugar and cardamom and keep it aside in a warm place.
2.Now mix cornflour in water and make it into a thin liquid mix.
3.Cut plantains into finger size pieces.
4.Heat ghee in a frying pan and fry each pieces of plantain in it after dipping in cornflour mix.
5.Put these fried pieces into sugar syrup and cook it for another 5-10 mins.
6.Now take banana pieces from syrup and arrange it in a serving dish and pour rest of  the syrup on top of plantain pieces.
7.Garnish it with chopped cherries and serve once it is cooled.
