Chicken Cutlet

Ingredients :-
1.Chicken - 1 cup (cooked and shredded)
2.Potato - 1/4 cup (cooked and mashed)
3.Onion - 1/2 cup (chopped)
4.Ginger - 1tspn (chopped)
5.Garlic - 1/2 tspn (paste)
6.Greenchillies - 1-2 (chopped)
7.Chicken masala powder - 1tbspn
8.Garam masala - 1/4tspn
9.Pepper powder - 1tspn
10.Salt - to taste
11.Egg - 1 (beaten)
12.Bread crumbs - as required
13.Oil - as required

Preperation :-
1.Heat 2 tbspn of oil in a pan and sautee onions till it is soft.
2.Add ginger, garlic and green chillies to it and fry it till it is slightly brown.
3.Add masala powders to this and fry it till you smell good flavour.
4.Add little water to moist the masala and keep it in reduced heat till you see clear oil in the bottom.
5.Add shredded chicken and mashed potato to this and mix it well till it is hard enough to make a ball.
6.Now, heat required oil in a deep frying pan.
7.Meanwhile, make lemon size balls with the mix made above and press it gently with your palm.
8.Make sure it wont break. Work on it with your fingers to bring it to a nice shape.
9.Keep these patties ready in a plate.
10.Once the oil is hot enough to fry, take each patties and dip it first in egg.
11.Now roll it gently in bread crumbs and make sure every sides are well coated.
12.Drop these patties gently into the oil and fry it till it turns dark brown.
13.Keeping it in a papertowel for few mins before serving will reduce our oil intake.
14.Serve it hot with ketchup or with any chutney you love.
