How can we reduce our weight? Nothing seems to be working, Why? Because we are not aware of our own body needs when it comes to food. Our body is just like a brand new car. How will we maintain our car? Think about doing almost the same thing with our body. For a smooth drive, you should use good quality petrol, oil and you should maintain it well right? Just like that, for smooth life you should feed your body with quality food. It dosen't mean that you have to eat costly food. Here, what i meant by the word 'quality' is nutritious. We mostly prefer to have a feast which will satisfy our mind and not our body. I learned this recently when i decided to trim down. It is just a starting trouble. Once you feel the difference, it will be hard for you to stop it. Because, it feels so good when we become lighter in weight. We will feel it in our every single move. Trust me. It is just AMAZING.

Dieting and exercise together helps us to reduce weight at the same time it tones up our body. So if you want to have a beautiful body, just go for it. Do some search online for calories reccommended for your age, sex and height. Make sure that you think twice before you put anything in your mouth. If you are a person who desperately wants to lose 10+ pounds, go to a gym and talk to a personal trainer. They will tell you how to work out. Here i am going to share some healthy low fat recipes which helped me to come down to my targeted weight. So treat your body 6 days in a week and treat your mind once in a week. It is ok to indulge in your fav food once in a week, if possible, make it once in 2 weeks.

I also learned that drinking 6-8 glasses (8 ounces is one standard glass) of water everyday helps us to acheive our goal faster. Sometimes, we can get a wrong signal from our brain for thirst as hunger. So when you feel hungry, drink a glass of water first and wait for a minute or so. Stop munching in between. Have 3 healthy nutritious meals with two snacks (one after breakfast and one after lunch) a day. Include reccommended portions of fruits and veggies in your diet. Drink a glass of water before having your food. This will help you to control your food portion. Eat slowly. Enjoy your food. It is good for both mind and body. Because, it will take 20 minutes for our brain to realise that our stomach is full. By that time, our stomach will be overloaded. So chew every bite of food and give our brain some time to trigger it.

Go to a dietition to learn more about your body needs in food. Do a search about nutrients and fat content in every food you eat. Every individual is different. So is their diet. So make sure that you stay healthy at the same time your family is healthy as well. Add some extra steps and moves to whatever you do. Let it be office work, household works, entertainments etc. But make sure that you do burn some extra calories in all you activities. If you are a person who enjoys music, do some steps along with it. Everybody says kids should learn things from adults. But latest researches says that adults should learn everything from kids. Mostly, they will listen only to their body and will treat accordingly. So when you get some free time, just try observing a toddler. You will be amazed.

A person should take not more that 3tspn of oil a day. Don't forget, 3TSPNS FOR 1 PERSON A DAY. Reduce the number of tspns as the number of family member increases. Olive oil is said to be the best oil among all. But it also looses its nutrients when the temperature increases. Because it has very low burning point. So make sure that you take olive oil raw with some salads or something. You can also cook some food without oil and add olive oil at last. Reducing the amount of oil in our daily cooking itself will show amazing results in our weight.
